Carpentry and construction has been a part of Joel and Garth’s lives, well, forever. Known as ‘The Boys’ for reasons some of us in the team will never understand , both Joel and Garth were raised in trades families. They met working for a large construction company at the start of their professional lives. Mates as well as business partners, The Boys had big dreams and ambitions so they decided to take the plunge and go out on their own, bringing onboard Joel’s wife Tamara, a systems and sales specialist.

Collectively, they have almost 40 years on the tools; carpentry is both their passion and their profession. They’ve worked on projects as diverse as skyscrapers that changed the landscape of Melbourne through to helping someone ‘finally’ create their dream bathroom. They’ve even helped out some four-legged family members get in and out of the house by way of a dedicated door within a door. Their highest source of pride, however is transforming people’s assumptions of construction being stressful, overly expensive and riddled with drama into experiences that positively wowed people- all through clear communication and trust and of course, excellent work.

Nothing lights them up like leading a team of trades to deliver a product that exceeds expectations, every time.
